Clueless, Shock Treatment is the sort of sequal to RHPS. There are several RHPS characters that return, but there are many differences. To me, Shock Treatment is the story of a Brad and Janet that did not get a flat tire or meet Frank on his special night. In this film, Brad and Janet are an unhappily married couple who have their love for each other put to the test by Farely Flavors, the man who owns Denton's local television station and a chain of fast food restaurants, and psychologists Dr. Cosmo and Nation McKinley, played by Richard O'Brien and Patricia Quinn. Other returning performers include "Little" Nell Campbell as "yours truely", Nurse Anaslong, and Charles Gray as Judge Oliver Wright. While Rocky has become a phenomenom, Shock Treatment disappeared quickly. Since then however, it's begun to make a kind of resurgance. There are several casts that have Shock Treatment nights where they run the film and perform a live show, just like they would do for Rocky. The video tape can be very difficult to find. In my area, there are only two stores that carry it. The soundtrack is out and can be found at most record stores.
