Zoe, all you really have to do is be yourself. You're at the age where
your body is "waking up" and you'll get urges and feelings that you've
never thought of before. What you need to do is, when you talk to him,
just do it as yourself. If you need to, take someone with you and have
them watch you. When you look like you're going to jump him, the person
will be there to stop you. Also, try and find out what he's interested
in, like music, films, or whatever, and talk to him about that. Once
you've found a common interest, it should be easier to talk to him. One
last thing, be careful that you don't get your heart broken. He might
just want to be your friend, so be prepared if something like that
happens. You're only 14, and there'll be more chances for you in the
future to meet your dream guy.
