Dear Nurse Ansalong:
I used to like acting in my former cast. Anyway, things went downhill and I no longer find it enjoyable to go to the shows unless my friend Jim is there. At least then we can make fun of each other. The cast from what I've heard is out of control. Have I lost that Lovin' Rocky feeling?
-The Man They Call Crow

Crow, from time to time, we all lose interest in things. Pizza might be your favorite food, but, if you eat it every day, you'll soon get sick of it. I've been performing in Rocky casts for several years now, and, from time to time, it did start to feel more like a job. There were weeks when I would have been more than happy to be home in bed than to be at the show. The same might have happened to you too. If being at the show is that hard for you, then you might want to take a leave to get your interest back. This leave could be a weekend, a month, or however long you decide. This time off will give you the chance to regain your interest in performing. The weekends that I had off helped me get recharged considerably. If a leave won't help, then, if there's another cast in your area, you might want to check out there show. Maybe this different cast is more "in control" and interested in performing the way that you want to. Also, this new setting might bring back your feelings for performing. Before you totally give up on performing Rocky, make sure that the feelings are true. Sometimes, it's very hard to go back if you sever your ties with the cast severely, so be careful.
