Dear Nurse Ansalong:
What do I do if I left a cast for the wrong reasons? Somebody fought really hard to get me to quit, so I did. How can I make it clear to the people in the cast that I will always be around for them without really being there?
-Twiggy
Twiggy, there are some people that you just can't get along with. No matter how much you try, it just becomes impossible to get through to these people. The main thing that you don't want to let these people do is run your life. It is your life to live, and you should never let someone force you to make a decision. If this person is the only reason that you've left the cast, then you might want to sit down and think about your decision. If this is one person's doing, then the rest of the cast will want you to stay. If you still want to leave, then I would advice you to tell the cast yourself. Even though they might try to talk you into coming back, this will allow you to tell them why you left and to answer any questions that the rest of the cast might have. This "question time" might help the cast members see that you've made your decision and will stick with it. And, if you want the cast to know that you will always be there for them, then always keep in contact with them. That way, even if you're not there in body, then you'll be there in spirit. It can be a very difficult decision for both the person and the rest of the cast when someone decides to leave. I hope that you make the right decision.
