Lover, I think that many of us know exactly the way that you're feeling right now. We've all been attracted to people that, for one reason or another, didn't even seem to recognize our existence. It can definately be a hard thing to have happen.

To remedy the situation, you might want to try to talk to this person and see if you can show him how you feel. While he might not be talking to you, there is the chance that he has noticed you in the past and just hasn't had the will or the nerve to go up and talk to you. If this is a person that is very shy, he could be thinking the exact same thing about you right now.

For whatever the reasons, I do think that you should try to go up and talk to him. If you do this, then there is the definate possibility that he'll know just how alive you are. ; )
