Christabel, in my own personal opinion, I think that 16 would be an okay age to join a cast if you plan on being a Technical Crew Member or a Transylvanian. I wouldn't recommend anyone below the age of 18 to play any major parts, especially the parts that involve running around the theatre in your underware. By keeping the "underage" cast members to the technical side and Trannies allows them to get a start on the cast, to learn a part over a longer period of time, and also makes sure that the cast doesn't get into trouble for having a 16 year old playing Janet.
