Dear Nurse Ansalong:
Is it okay to take pictures off of someone's home page without their permission if there is nothing on the page telling you not to? Or if you put a link to their page on yours?
-Trixie
Trixie, from someone who knows how much work it takes to work on a web site, to turn around and see others with your pictures claiming them to be their own is a very agrivating thing. If you ever take a picture from someone's site, you should always give credit to where you got it from. A link back to the person's site is the easiest thing to do. You can also, if you have a credits/thanks section, put a message there telling where the pictures are from. You should never just take a picture from another person's site and not recognize the other's work. Just think how mad you'd be if someone did this to you. It's not a nice feeling, I'll tell you that...
