Dear Nurse Ansalong:
I try so hard to become a big Tim Curry fan, but I don't have the money to buy Tim things. I also try so hard to be a big ROCKY HORROR Fan, but everything is so hard to find and costs too much money. Please help because I want to be a fan just like everyone else.

Frank's Daughter, just because you don't have a massive RHPS or Tim Curry collection, that doesn't make you any less of a fan than someone with a huge collection of stuff. Just like you, there's now way that I could afford to buy all of the RHPS material that's out there. What I do is I get the things that interest me and let the rest go. I've found that a collection based around a general like of what you've purchased lasts a lot longer than buying up every last thing to be able to say that you have it all.
Another thing to remember is that a lot of the people who seem to have huge collections of RHPS or Tim Curry stuff have spent years and years amassing what they have. People like Cosmo or Larry Veizel have spent countless days digging through store after store, convention after convention, looking for the pieces that they have on display now. If you start looking now, you might be the person to find something that no one has. And you don't need to spend every cent that you get to buy it... ; )
