Dee, there are ways to let him know how you feel without being too forward. Try to see if you can get to work with or near him. This way you'll get to spend time with him and get to know him without having any kind of emotional overtones to start off with. Also, if you know of another coworker who talks to this person, you could try to talk to them about what his feelings are about you. Whatever you do, try to avoid hovering around him at work without talking to him or a reason for being there. This could confuse him and make him even more nervous. Finally, be sure to give him a little time to get used to you. If you suddenly start talking to him and quickly trying to get closer to him, that would definately make him nervous. Just be sure to take it easy at first and give him the time to be comfortable and something good could appear for the two of you.
