Dear Nurse Ansalong:
This is a really weird question but my friend and I have been puzzling over it. If you go to the ROCKY HORROR SHOW (the stage version) as a virgin, is that the equivalent of losing your virginity at the Rocky Horror movie? Or is it different for both versions?

llk, Ricky and I had a nice long chat about this, and we came up with kind of an answer. While you would still be considered a movie virgin since you haven't seen the film in a theatre, you wouldn't be quite as "virginal" as someone who goes to the film for the first time. While it could be said that you're watching relatively the same thing in either place, the atmosphere is much more subdued seeing the play and, while there is some AP, it's done much more quieter than in the movie theatre. So, as Ricky put it, "I'd liken this person to someone who's had oral sex but still hasn't had their cherry popped." Which I tend to agree with too... ; )
