Dear Nurse Ansalong:
Is there any special detergent or strengthener or anything you can wash your fishnets in so they don't fall to pieces after one performance?
-Twink

Twink, there are a couple ways to save your washed fishnets. Wash them by hand in the sink and hang them to dry. If you try to wash them in a machine, don't put them in the dryer. The hot air can cause the net fabric to become brittle and break easily. If your fishnets are still breaking on a regular basis, you might want to look into getting a pair of fishnets for dancers. They're built stronger and can take a lot more wear than the cheap ones that you find at your local mall store. Give these ideas a try and see what happens.
