Dear Nurse Ansalong:
I met a guy in the Zen Room and we are emailing each other. He is 8 years older than me and I want to meet him. Should I tell him I'd like to meet him? I also want a picture of him. Should I go ahead and ask for his address?

Fuzzball, meeting new people is always a great thing. That being said, you might want to play it a little safe until you're sure that you really know this person. One of the problems with meeting a person online is that, unless he has a site or a picture online, there's no way for you to know if he's telling you the truth. If he lives somewhere near you, then you could always try to meet him in a public place. This way, you'll have a measure of safety when you first meet. Once you've gotten to know him in person better, then you can meet him more privately. This also goes towards giving out addresses. Since he has an email address, see if he has a picture scanned that he can email. Once you know him better, than you can be a little bit safer giving out your more personal information. As long as you play it a little safe at the start, I think you'll do okay.
