Groupie, there are many reasons why ST can be seen as a little confusing. The script had gone through many rewrites at the time, so things from the different drafts were mixing together. Also, there was a strike just as the film went into production which forced the film to be shot all indoors, instead of having both indoor and outdoor scenes. About Rest Home Ricky... he is probably a nurse, just like yours truely. In the film, he's played by Ric Mayall, a British actor and comedian. He's been performing for over 20 years, but most of his work has been in the U.K. He was in the film DROP DEAD FRED with Phoebe Cates and appeared in all of the 'Blackadder' series and 'The Young Ones' for British Television.
