Dear Nurse Ansalong:
Why don't Brad and Janet recognize Nation and Cosmo and Ansalong as Riff, Magenta, and Columbia? RHPS was supposed to be "a night out they were going to remember for a very long time." I suppose it's partly that Jessica and Cliff are not Barry and Susan, the REAL Brad and Janet (just my opinion).

Joanna, I'm not totally sure what Richard O'Brien was thinking when he wrote SHOCK TREATMENT, the film for me is a "What if?" story. Basically, it's the story of a Brad and Janet that made it to Dr. Scott's house and never visited the castle. They never had their "night that they're going to remember for a very long time." Therefore, they wouldn't know who Cosmo, Nation, and Ansalong could have been in their pasts. It's kind of a simple answer, but it's the one that I tend to follow.
