Random, the reason that she tells Janet this is in her very next line; "You'll get the first night for free." Actually, it's her influence that saves Brad and Janet in the end. Since she talked Janet into not signing the contract immediately, it never did get done. That's the loophole that Janet uses to free Brad from Cosmo and Nation. While she probably didn't plan it that way, it's Ansalong that guarentees the chance for a happy ending to the film. Happy being a relative term, of course...
