Dear Nurse Ansalong:
I am 15 years old. I used to be very conservative, but I've changed. A while ago, I was taken by a friend of mine to see ROCKY in a theater, and instantly fell in love. My parents weren't very happy with my wanting to go see it again and again. They think there is something unhealthy about it. Is there something wrong with me for wanting to sing the songs all day, perform the show with my drama troupe, throw ROCKY-Bashes with all my crazed-friends? The rest of the school thinks we are the oddest group of people to walk the halls, and my parents seem to agree! What should I do?
-Freak?

Freak?, you should take the question mark away from your name because you aren't one. Just because you are so into RHPS doesn't make you a bad person in any way. If everyone that was totally into a certain thing were considered freaks, then all the people who collect Beanie Babbbies would be the biggest ones in the world. (An RHPS line of Beanie Babbies? Hmmmmm... ; ) As long as you don't overdo it for the people who aren't quite as big a fan as you and your friends are, I think that you'll be okay. As for your parents, you might need to give them time to accept you interest in all things ROCKY. They might think that there "Perfectly Wholesome Little Child" is being corrupted by the film, but as long as you don't do anything to make them mad, I think that they'll learn, over time, to accept your interest in the film...
