Dear Nurse Ansalong:
I'm a girl with a huge crush on a goth guy who is 3 grades older than me. But two of my friends who are also friends with him say that we are perfect for each other. They are really serious too, but I don't know how to get his attention. I wouldn't want to force him into noticing me by having our friends introduce us. Do you think I should drop my "if it's meant to be it will" attitude and get a friend to introduce us? And what am I supposed to say to him anyways? And how can I get his attention in the first palce?

Columbia X, you should have your friends introduce you. One thing that people seem to forget is that every conversation doesn't have to be the BIG TALK. When your friends go to talk to him, follow along. If there's a chance for you to enter into their conversation, then go for it. You could be talking about a Chemistry test, but as long as he is talking to you, then he's learning about you. Get to know him first and then see what happens. It might be an instant attraction or it could take longer, but if you stick with it, something magical could happen for you.
