Curious, I was 19 when I saw RHPS for the first time. And, I think that one of the reasons why more people don't like the film is because they might be nervous about what a live version of ROCKY is like. I know many "sane" people who like the film, but they don't like to go to the theatres that much. Whatever happens, you don't need to be "sane" to like ROCKY and, i think that the cult following the film has gained has helped it turn into something more than just a film or just a midnight movie.
