Dear Nurse Ansalong:
I have had this giagantic crush on this guy for about a year now. I mean I've always liked him, but now it's a full blown crush. I told him my feelings recently and he wasn't interested. Usually, at this point in a crush, I lose intrest and look for some one new but I just can't get over him. I have tried everything short of hammering my head against the wall and I still can't get him out of my mind. What should I do?

Brick House, it seems like it's always harder to forget about the ones that didn't feel the same way about us. We get all these feelings about the other person and, when he/she doesn't agree with you, you just can't seem to let it go. It might take some time, but it will get easier for you. If the two of you hang out together a lot, you might want to spend a little time away from the normal place. This could help you get all of the feelings out and maybe even start to look at other people. Other than that, it's just going to take you a little time to get him out of your mind. It sounds tough, but it should get easier over time.
