Dear Nurse Ansalong:
In ROCKY HORROR, Janet was whipped, but in SHOCK TREATMENT, Brad was the one who was whipped. What happened there? I'm not saying that Brad should have continued to be an asshole in SHOCK TREATMENT, but something had to have happened to make them switch. Was Janet liberated the night she spent with Rocky? Was Brad put in his place after spending the night with Frank?

Izzy2000, you have some very interesting points in your questions. If you take ST as a direct sequel to ROCKY, then there are explanations for why Brad and Janet act the way that they do. During the Floor Show solos, Brad's piece sounds very scared and confused while Janet's sounds happy and free. The events of the night in the house could have changed their personalities considerably. Still confused and haunted by the realization of the the night's events, Brad could have turned inward and became more repressed as a way to control his feelings. Meanwhile, Janet has come out of the night as a new, independent woman who isn't as traumatized as Brad. It could have taken the events in ST to bring out the real Brad from the emotional rubble left over from ROCKY.
