Dear Nurse Ansalong:
I'm a ROCKY virgin, but I do not want to participate in any of the "virgin ceremonies". I do not refer only to the stage act, but also to the V sign. (There is a long and personal reason for this, which I prefer to keep to myself.. sorry.) I want to go to ROCKY, but I do not want to do any of the "virgin" stuff. I can't claim that I'm not a virgin as people already know me there (from my high school). I heard I can avoid the stage act, but that no one can avoid the V sign. What can I do to avoid this? Since for me, this is the only thing that will spoil everything in ROCKY.

w.k., the whole "Virgin Sacrifice" stuff is designed for fun, but it can also be very intimidating. If you have a problem with the Vs being drawn on your face, you could try to come up with a more creative way to mark yourself as a ROCKY virgin. You could make a sign to hang around your neck with "VIRGIN" written on it in colorful letters. You could bring along a couple friends to help to keep people writting the Vs away from you. It might seem kind of strong to need bodyguards at ROCKY, but, depending on how determined the person with the lipstick is, you might need them. Another idea is to buy your tickets for the show, but wait away from the rest of the crowd. Also, you could arrive later on in the evening. If they've started to let people into the theatre, the lipstick people probably won't be paying a lot of attention to writing on everyone's faces. There is no way that I can totally guarentee to you that these ideas will work, but if this is a problem that could keep you away from the film entirely, you might need to use extreme measures.
