Dear Nurse Ansalong:
I really fancy my best friend's exboyfriend. However, even though I was told that he's interested in me (and when we're together, he seems interested), I asked him if he liked me and he said that he thought I was pretty but he didn't fancy me. And recently my best friend who still fancies him told him that she still really liked him. The thing is he still really likes her!! What should I do? I mean I've tried to get them back together (in my sick twisted way this makes me feel better) or shoudd I just leave them alone?? And what shoudd I do about her ex??

Cat, from your description, this looks like a love triangle waiting to happen. My advice to you would be to just let things happen. Don't try and force yourself on your best friend's ex because this could drive him away from you. If you're interested in him, then try to spend time with him and see if you can gain more of his "fancy". He might also still have strong feelings for your friend that could be confusing him on who he actually cares about more. If it's only been a short time since the break-up, his feelings could still be fresh for your friend which could cloud what he says to you. Give him some time to work out who he cares about and see what happens.
