Dear Nurse Ansalong:
I am the one who talked about having a fight with her best friend. Well, we have not been talking, (as were things at the time of my last letter) and I am afraid that she isn't ever going to be my friend again. She is going to go trick-or-treating with us on Halloween, and I am afraid of what to do. Should I invite her to my sleepover with everyone else? Should I just leave her out? What should I do? My pride is to much for me to talk to her.
-Mishegoss
Mishegoss, I wish that you and your friend could be talking again, but sometimes these kinds of things take time. If I were you, I would invite her to your sleepover. By doing this, you're showing her that you still want to be friends. If she doesn't want to go, then you'll know that there might not be anymore hope for the two of you. If she does accept, then try to spend some time with her that night. The more the two of you talk, the faster your friendship could return. And, if your pride is hurt too much to actually ask her, you could always invite her with a card. It might be a little impersonal, but at least you'll know that she got it.
