Is Columbia a Transylvanian? And if she and Magenta are such good friends, why is Magenta so willing to "Medusa" her? And why does Riff kill her? It makes sense to me why he kills Frank, and even Rocky, but it seems like poor Columbia didn't deserve it. One last question: Where can I get a copy of Shock Treatment? Nobody, but nobody, seems to have it. Thanks!

Nell, from her solo in Time Warp, it's easy to explain where Columbia came from. She sings about "walking down the street" when she was given an "evil wink" by a man with "a pick-up truck and the Devil's eyes". Basically, she got picked up by Frank and taken back to the castle to live, and for awhile at least, be Frank's girlfriend. I think that Magenta was just following orders when she medusaed Columbia. It's right after all this happens that Magenta yells at Frank for what's happening. Also, remember that Magenta and Columbia might not be the best of friends. When Columbia walks back after tripping on the stairs, it appears that Magenta gives her a condescending look which Columbia doesn't seem to appreciate. As far as Riff killing her, I think that he had just had enough of everything that was happening. He could have been startled by her scream and just shot out of feeling of self-defense. And, the easiest way to get a copy of SHOCK TREATMENT for your very own is to go to your local video store and try to special order it. That's how I got mine and, if you're willing to wait a week or two, you can have one too.
