Dear Nurse Ansalong:
I have two questions regarding the Rocky Horror Show (stage production). 1st: Are there Transylvanians in the play? I've read the script, and it appears as though they're not present, and that they're replaced with the role of the "phantoms". 2nd: Are there any plans in the works for a U.S. tour?
-Cold Patootie

Cold Patootie, there are no Transylvanians in the play. The Transylvanians made their first appearance in the film. The "Phantoms" take their place in the stage play by singing the back-up or additional lyrics as the Transylvanians do in the film. The play is usually running somewhere around the world. Last year, it toured Ohio and there was a version that toured Europe a couple years ago. As it gets closer to the 25th Anniversary, keep your eyes open because their could be a touring company passing through your town.
