Dear Nurse Ansalong:
I met a really sweet, really funny guy online, and I know I can trust him because he's met a lot of people I talk to online. We are both honest with each other too. The only problem is he lives about 4 hours away from me. Still, is it possible to fall in love with someone you've never met?

Daisy, it's not strange to fall for someone that you've never met in person. Ever since people started being penpals with each other, relationships have flourished from words and paper. If you're that close, then you could try and meet up with him. If the distance is a problem for you, see if he's willing to drive to you or, if there is somewhere between the two of you that is the same distance, then go there. Be prepared for anything to happen when the two of you actually meet. I've heard some friends say that it was great and some talk about how different the other person seemed. Whatever happens, good luck to you...
