Dear Nurse Ansalong:
I just met this guy the other day. He is fine as a mug and nice and all those desirable traits. He invited me to come to his house and watch a movie, but my dumb Mom wouldn't let me. Looking back, I really wish I had. Who knows what could've developed? But now he is leaving to go back to Rhode Island, which is thousands of miles away from me. He promised to write me and call but it's just not the same. I wanted to be his girlfriend. I can't just get over him like that. What should I do?

Glor, if you're that interested in him, then you'd better be sure that either tell him how you feel or that you get all of his vital information (like address, phone number, etc) before he leaves. That way, if he becomes forgetful, you still have a way to keep in touch with him. A quick way to keep his memory working-Give him a "going-away" present. When he unpacks his things in Rhode Island, he'll see what you bought for him and remember back to the person that he left behind.
