I have always had dreams of opening my own cast, but now that a once off cast has appeared, I don't know if I should compete as I live in Wollongong (Australia), and there wouldn't be much urgency for people. Ah, maybe it didn't have a cast. I dunno.

Dickie, starting your own cast is a dream that many ROCKY performers have, especially ones that live or have moved to areas that don't have a cast, let alone an actual showing of the film. If you know someone involved in the "one off cast", try and get in touch and see what is happening with the show. You might be able to get in with that cast or make enough new friends to have a cast ready to go. Also, check out around your town to see the interest in the film. If there is enough of a potential audience, you could take that information to a theatre and try to talk them into letting you and your cast perform. It might take some time, but don't give up hope. Dreams can sometimes take awhile to happen, but, if you believe enough and work hard enough, they have this tendency to actually happen...
