One of my very best friends, the one who actually got me in to RHPS has turned Trecky on me!! :( She was actualy obsessed with Tim Curry and we had note books full of RH related stuf. But now she's obsessed with ---Q--- and the note books have changed to Star Trek shrines. Please help me! How do I get her hooked back on the drug that is Rocky Horror??!!!!!!??????!!!!!!

Glitter Gal, everybody's tastes change. We don't always keep the same likes and dislikes throughout our lives. Looking back on my life, there are many things that I don't understand why I liked them, but that's how I felt at the time. Your friend has found something new that interests her but that also doesn't mean that she's totally given up RHPS. If you want to get her interest back, then try to get her involved in RHPS stuff, like going to the theatre or just watching the film. Also, try to find ways to link her new obsession with those of her past. You could, for example, ask her to come up with a cast list if the Star Trek characters played RHPS. Things like this can rekindle her interest in ROCKY and also help you to understand why she likes it so much. While doing this, please remember that you can't force your friend to "change back" if she doesn't want to. If you try and do that, then you might wind up losing a friend in the process...
