Dear Nurse Ansalong:
What should I do about my wedding jidders? Especially since my wedding isn't for two years.
-Lyshala L.

Lyshala, getting married is a major moment in everyone's life, so it's perfectly natural to be scared about your trip to the altar. I know for a fact that I'll be totally nervous on, as my Dad calls it, my "Big Day". The main thing that you want to do is to keep the reasons that you are getting married first in your mind. The feelings of love and affection that you feel for your "significant other" will help to ease down your feelings of dread. Another thing that you should try is to talk to people who are married about what their feelings were. You could ask your Mother, sister, or best friend about what they went through. With all of these insights, it will help to calm you down as you hear that everyone went through the same nervous feelings that you did. I hope that this helps you and that, in two years time, you have the best possible wedding.
