Dear Nurse Ansalong:
I am a 15 year old female. Last night I had a dream that I was making out with one of my good friends (a girl). I have been having dreams like this for the past 3 nights. As far as I know I am straight. I have a boyfriend. I'm not really sure what I am asking. I suppose I want to know if this might mean I am bisexual. I am so confused!!!!

Beth, there is the old saying that "dreams are a window into your soul." While this may be the case, I'm not sure that just because you've had these dreams that you're bisexual. A bisexual person finds both sexes romantically attractive. While you might be having dreams about making out with your female friend, unless you've had the same thoughts while you were awake, I don't think that they show you to be bisexual. See how you feel around your friend. If, even with these dreams, you still feel the same for her as before, then it was probably just in your mind.
