Dear Nurse Ansalong:
I will be attending my first showing of the RHPS very soon. I'm very afraid of the "virgin" ceremony. What happens at one and what are some examples?
-Scared To Death
Scared, there are as many different "virgin ceremonies" as there are casts. Each cast tends to have their favorites that they use. If you want to find out some, check out the "Pre-Show Archive" that is kept at this site. It's a long list of different things that have been used over the years. The "ceremonies" range from something like saying tongue twisters with a mouth full of marshmallows to eating a brownie placed suggestively on another virgin to literally faking an orgasm on stage. One of the most normal things that casts and audiences will do is mark virgins with red lipstick on their face. Please don't be scared that you're going to be forced to do something that you don't want to. While cast members might try and pull virgins on stage, they have no right to force you to do anything. Also, please remember that, depending on where you sit or the audience at the show, you might not come anywhere near getting pulled on stage. Lastly, remember that these "ceremonies" are done for fun. Nobody is trying to force you to do something that will cause you any pain. If there's a cast out there that does do that, then you should definately find a new one.
