Dear Nurse Ansalong:
I am currently a senior in high school and would like to start a cast to put on RHPS. I have about ten friends who would probably like to be in it, but I think it may be too late to start, since we are all seniors and will soon go our separate ways. I wish I had thought about starting a cast my freshman year, but now I'm just wondering if there's any way to keep a cast together, even if they all go off to different colleges/workplaces/whatever...

FiresRogue, it's not too late to start your own cast. If there's a theatre in your area that needs a cast, you and your friends could start there. Depending on how many of your friends go far away, there might still be a large group to perform. Also, as you perform, you'll start to bring in new people who will want to join the cast. These additional people could fill up the holes that appear when your friends leave. The "new blood" will also guarentee that your cast will still be performing when everyone comes home on vacation. So, get out there and start showing the world what you and your friends can do. ; )
