Dear Nurse Ansalong:
Some of my friends think I'm crazy, but I'm a REALLY big fan of Little Nell. I've driven or called everywhere trying to find copies of her movies and music. And, to top it off, I've had a big crush on her ever since I heard "See You 'Round Like A Record". When I'm not playing Dr. Scott in our cast, I go as Columbia. (I'm a guy, but I don't call myself a "Sweet Transvestite".) What should I do?
-Columbia
Columbia, it's totally normal to be a fan of Nell. It's also normal for people to think that their friend's interests are strange. My parents are big football fans. Every Sunday, I'll always find them sitting in front of the television, rooting for their favorite team. Whenever I watch part of a game with them, I never understand what they see in it. They tell me that they have the same feelings towards RHPS, so it works both ways. As long as you don't do anything to hurt yourself or others, then being a fan is alright. Just be careful that you don't change from being a "fan" to being a "fanatic". Then you might have a problem. And, I don't think you have anything to worry about if you go to RHPS dressed as Columbia. Just make sure that you don't go to work dressed like her. Then, there could be a problem...
