Dear Nurse Ansalong:
I have loved RHPS and SHOCK TREATMENT since the 6th grade, and I'm currently in 12th. Problem is, in my area, they only show RHPS once a year, and its not even a theatrical print! Plus when I went to that "showing", the majority of the people there were just there to throw things and be rude. What can I do until I go off to a (hopefully) out of state college?

Heather, you never can predict the audience that ROCKY will bring out. I've seen audiences that were totally beligerant to the live cast and everyone in general and I've seen shows where everyone sat quietly throughout the entire show. For the next show, try bringing a large group of friends along that love the film as much as you do. The more like-minded people that you bring will hopefully make the viewing more enjoyable. Also, if you want to, you could have "special" showings at you or your friend's houses. By doing this, you have an audience ready to watch the film the way that you want it to be seen. If there is enough demand in your area, you could try to ask a local theatre to run the film. Getting the film into a movie theatre will also give you the chance to have a larger audience, which could help with the obnoxious ones. Whatever you do, don't let idiots like the ones you've seen drive you away!
